This book has been designed to explain the fundamentals of the various aspects of
communication in the simplest possible language.
Prof. A.P. Girdhar, faculty of English, B.K. Birla Institute of
Engineering & Technology, Pilani, Rajasthan (India), obtained
his M.A. English literature degree from Jiwaji University,
Gwalior. He also did one year certificate course in English
language teaching from Central Institute of English and
Foreign Languages, Hyderabad. He has taught graduate and
postgraduate classes for more than forty years.
