Mechanical, Production and Industrial Engineering. The data and formulae in the book
are presented in an easy-to-locate and use style.
Vijay Kumar Jadon is Assistant Professor (Reader), Department of Mechanical Engineering at the
Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in
Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jodhpur in 1991 and his M.E. in Machine Design
and doctoral degree from IIT Roorkee in 1994 and 2001, respectively. His areas of interest
include CAD, Finite Element Analysis, Mechanics of Composite Materials and Tribology.
Suresh Verma, Senior Lecturer, Department of Mechanical Engineering, CR State College of
Engineering, Murthal, Sonepat, obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and
Master’s Degree with specialization in Machine Design from Regional Engineering College,
Kurukshetra in 1996 and 1999, respectively. With about a decade of experience, his areas of
interest are Robotics, FEA and Product Design.
