Dr.Deven Shah is working as a Head of IT department at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology. He is pioneer in creating private cloud in the college. His project on Cloud Computing got recognition from Department of Science, Govt. of India. His project ideas have surfaced in top 20 best project of IBM Great Mind Challenge for last 4 years. He has been awarded the best faculty from IBM in 2007 and also IBM drona award in 2009. His research area includes security, web engineering and he has author books on the same topics. He is certified vulnerability assessor and developed various courses using open source technology. He is the author of five more books.
Mr. Dayanand Ambawade is working as a Head of Electronics & Telecommunication department at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology. His research area includes network architecture, protocols and their performance analysis and traffic management. He is also interested in Installation of Linux Systems and Integrating with Windows Systems, Connecting Heterogeneous Networks with Samba, Setting up necessary network services (DNS, SQUID, LDAP, DHCP, FTP, Telnet, Apache/PHP, and Mail etc.), Adding users to the Development Group Server with proper permissions, Writing Necessary Scripts for the Automation of taking Weekly and Daily Backups.
Mr. Mahendra Mehra is presently working as a lecturer in Information Technology department at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology. He holds a degree in information technology from SPIT. His area of interest includes Linux, computer networks, information security and clustering. He has published several research papers against his name in valued international journals and conference. His BE project was accepted as an international conference paper in the prestigious ISA conference held in Seoul, South Korea.
